Harry Kane hit a hat-trick as Bayern win Bundesliga opener 6-0

Bayern Munich has sent a resounding message to the rest of the Bundesliga, beginning their title defense with an emphatic 6-0 thrashing of rivals RB Leipzig.

The victory was a showcase of the club's recent acquisitions from the Premier League, who collectively dismantled Leipzig and established an early-season dominance.

The star of the show was undoubtedly Harry Kane, who added another chapter to his phenomenal goal-scoring record in Germany by netting a hat-trick in the second half. 

Since his move from Tottenham in the summer of 2023, the 32-year-old England captain has now scored an incredible eight Bundesliga hat-tricks, proving he's still a lethal force in front of goal. 

Kane, ever the competitor, even told the Bundesliga website he was driven to get on the scoresheet after seeing his teammates put the team up 3-0 in the first half.

But Kane was not the only one to shine. Michael Olise, another big-money arrival, scored a decisive brace in the first half, while newcomer Luis Diaz also found the back of the net. 

The attacking synergy between the trio was on full display, with Diaz even providing two assists for Kane's goals, highlighting an instant connection that bodes well for the season ahead.

The convincing win serves as a powerful warning to any team hoping to challenge Bayern's supremacy.
